We are delighted to announce that the Irish Whiskey Museum is now on Headbox!

HeadBox is the UK’s only SaaS enabled online marketplace where you can instantly search, book and pay for inspiring meeting, off-site and event spaces.

The Digital Content Executive of Headbox, Tom Powell, had this to say about our event space:

“At HeadBox, we know just how difficult it is to find the right venue for an event. For corporate occasions the venue you choose needs to inspire, energise and motivate your guests and so it is important to think outside the box and move away from the predictable, tried and tested meeting rooms you are used to.

If it’s a unique space you are seeking in the Irish capital, they don’t come much finer than the Irish Whiskey Museum, a venue where flexibility, style and outstanding hospitality combine to provide an unforgettable experience, no matter what event you are planning.

The Irish Whiskey Museum was amongst the first Irish venues to be added to the HeadBox platform earlier this year and there’s no doubt that the venue’s array of stunning spaces make it one of our favourite venues to visit in the city.

Located in the heart of Dublin, overlooking Trinity College and within walking distance of all the sights and sounds of the thriving city centre, the museum ticks every box when it comes to providing the ultimate event experience.

From the Cafe to the Apothecary and the Shebeen to the Tasting Bar, the museum is a maze of delightful rooms, each with its own story to tell that reflects a focal point in Irish history, from the first production of the famous spirit in the 12th, through the golden era of Irish whiskey, right through to the modern day.

Venue hire at the Irish Whiskey Museum comes with three options, the opportunity to book one, two or all three floors of this famous venue. Each floor has capacity for up to 70 guests with 200 guests able to be accommodated if you choose to hire the whole venue.

No matter what type of event you are planning, we can guarantee the Irish Whiskey Museum will have the perfect space. For a unique away day setting the Apothecary is a stunning option with exposed brick walls and plenty of greenery giving the space both a rustic and intimate feel while the Shebeen provides a fantastic breakout space for private meetings.

If a larger area is required both the Victorian Bar and Renaissance Room provide ample room for networking events, drinks receptions or presentations. For more social affairs such as company celebrations, Christmas parties and team get-togethers look no further than the Tasting Bar, the perfect place to discover the joys of Irish whiskey and enjoy a fantastic range of food laid on by the venue. Whichever package you choose at the Irish Whiskey Museum, your experience is not complete within an express tasting tour where you can select from a range of premium whiskeys and learn all about what they have to offer.

But it’s not just the different spaces that make this venue one of the finest in the city, because it’s the team on hand to assist you that make the Irish Whiskey Museum a truly special event venue. Whatever size your event and whatever requirements you may have, the staff here are on hand to tailor your package to suit your needs and ensure your event is everything you want it to be. As the only independent whiskey attraction in Ireland, the staff have an unrivalled knowledge of Irish whiskey and its history and are more than willing to share their knowledge as they guide around the museum.

So for your next event why not try something different? Send your guests on a journey through Irish history, delight them with a selection of the city’s finest food and drink and entertain them local music by visiting the Irish Whiskey Museum.”
